Man seriously injured after being shot in Clondalkin
Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a shooting incident in Clondalkin tonight.
The attack took place on Wheatfield Avenue before 10pm.
In a statement released by Gardai, a spokesperson said: “Gardai and emergency services are at the scene of a shooting incident at Wheatfield Avenue, Clondalkin in Dublin.
“The incident was reported to Gardai at 9.40pm on Monday night.
“A man in his 30s was seriously injured in the shooting incident.
“The area is currently sealed off and a forensic examination of the area will take place.”
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses to contact them at Roanastown Garda Station on 01 666 7700.
