‘Mental torture’ waiting in count centre for MEP results
KILNAMANAGH native Lynn Boylan described waiting in the count centre in the RDS to find out if she had been elected to the European parliament last week was “mental torture”.
Ms Boylan, who lives in Clondalkin, was deemed elected with 68,235 votes last Tuesday, June 11, after three days of counting, and in the process winning back the seat that she lost in 2019.
