Mother and child hospitalised after road traffic collision on N81

A mother and her child had to be taken to hospital last night after the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a collision on the N81.

Units from Dublin Fire Brigade and Gardai attended the scene, as did an ambulance from the National Ambulance Service.

The mother and her child were taken to Tallaght Hospital to receive further treatment for their injures sustained during the road traffic collision.

The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
