Mystery at medieval graveyard may have been uncovered
THE mystery high status remains from a vault in the medieval graveyard of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Lucan village, may have been uncovered by a local archaeologist and historian.
Helen Farrelll made the “surprise breakthrough” recently while cataloguing documents, as part of her research with the Society for Old Lucan (SOL), who work to conserve and promote the area’s local history, heritage, archaeology and folklore.
