New Garda roster a cause for ‘genuine concern’
AN EXPECTED reduction in community gardaí and members of the drug unit in Tallaght as part of the implementation of a new garda roster is a cause for “genuine concern”, according to a councillor.
A new garda roster is set to be implemented in November, and early indications suggest that community gardaí in Tallaght will be merged into the main garda force in the station.
