New milestone for BMA Clondalkin
BUSHIDO Clondalkin recently fielded three members in a black belt grading held in the Leixlip Amenity Centre.
In all, 17 members of Bushido Martial Arts, one of Ireland’s biggest kickboxing associations, took part in a seven-hour-long black belt grading under the watchful eyes of Chief Instructor of BMA Roy Baker and Assistant chief instructor of BMA Ilija Salerno (head coach of BMA Clondalkin).
Liam Bhandal and Evette Wade, who have been training under coach Salerno for some 15 years, both passed their first degree black belts just over three years ago and made it through their latest test on Sunday to receive their second degrees – a first for the Clondalkin outfit, which is running 16 years now in the heart of Clondalkin village.
Megan , who is training some eight years, was also successful in her test and earned her first degree belt.
