New text service for Luas passengers to report anti-social behaviour launched
The Luas operator has this morning announced a new text service to report anti-social behaviour.
Transdev say the new approach to tackling anti-social behaviour on its trams will help tackle the problem, and will further improve customer experience.
Members of the public can make a report by texting LUAS to 51444.
In a statement this morning, the operator explained how it will work: “All you have to do is text the keyword LUAS to 51444, state the tram number and location, text your message (up to 155 characters max) and hit send.
“Within 90 seconds you will receive an automated reply to assure you that Luas have received the text.
“Meanwhile the Luas team will review and action the message in accordance with Luas protocols.
“This service will help Luas tackle anti-social behaviour and improve your customer experience. #ItsYourLuas and we want to make your journey go as smoothly as possible!”
