November Sports Team of the Month: Ballyboden St Enda’s Senior Football Team

WINNING the Dublin Championship title, Ballyboden St Enda’s senior footballers  continued on to book their place in the Leinster decider while also reaching the AFL One final.

The team overcame the challenge of a giant-killing Thomas Davis outfit in the county decider, winning 0-15 to 0-9 in Parnell Park for what was the club’s fourth county title at the top grade and  their first since 2015.

Following that Anthony Rainbow’s outfit booked their place in the Dublin Senior Football Division One Final after beating Lucan Sarsfields 2-12 to 2-6.

A week later they secured their spot in the Leinster Championship showpiece for the second time in their history following a 3-14 to 0-12 win over Garrycastle in Cusack Park.
