Permission for three-storey apartment block granted
By Aideen O’Flaherty
PERMISSION has been granted for the development of a three-storey apartment block to the rear of De Selby Lawns in Tallaght.
Applicant OCW Developments Ltd lodged an application with South Dublin County Council last October seeking permission for the construction of an apartment block to house 12 two-bedroom apartments.

It was proposed that the ground floor would contain six apartments, while six duplex units are to be housed on the first and second floor.
Provision for connecting to a foul sewer and providing vehicular access to the north of the site onto De Selby Lawns, and pedestrian access onto Blessington Road, were also included in the application.
Additional information was requested by South Dublin County Council in February in relation to the submission of revised drawings, which would address the council’s concerns about the “excessive density” of the proposed development, and to provide for a reduction in the number of units in the planned development.
