Plans in place for collection of leaves

A NUMBER of arrangements have now been put in place by South Dublin County Council to assist with the collection of leaves.

For one-off sweeps or a non-routine request for leaf collection, where an individual wishes to request leaf sweeping or has gathered and bagged leaves from the public footpath or roadway, the council will endeavour to collect these bagged leaves after a request for collection has been submitted.

For community clean-ups, when a request is received from a resident’s group for collection of bagged leaves, the request will be processed through the Social Credits Scheme.
