PUT that unwanted mattress to bed and take advantage of a one-day-only mattress amnesty at the Ballymount civic amenity.

This Saturday, August 24, householders are invited to dispose of any unwanted mattresses at the Ballymount civic amenity between 9am and 5pm.

Clean, dry mattresses only will be accepted free of charge.

Free disposal is for household customers only and does not apply to commercial customers, furniture/bedding companies or property management companies.
