Residents ‘outraged’ trees and hedgerows are chopped down

RESIDENTS are “outraged” as centennial trees and hedgerows were felled in the outskirts of Rathcoole village.

Cutting and felling have been taking place throughout the past two weeks between Green Lane and Stoney Hill Road, where according to residents, hedgerows had been part of Norman “burgage plots,” and were part of the local heritage.
