Respect your elders protest continues outside hospital
PROTESTS continue outside Cherry Orchard Hospital (COH) since the announcement nearly two months ago that elderly residents are to be moved to a private nursing home in Clondalkin.
The HSE say this is to facilitate flooring works at COH but families and representatives have criticised the HSE’s plan to move 68 vulnerable patients, with medical needs, including dementia, to Clondalkin, amid fears some might not survive the transition.
