Rhasidat in record-breaking form

Rhasidat Adeleke was in record breaking form on Sunday evening at the prestigious Millrose Games in New York.

The Tallaght Athletics Club star set a new Irish 300m record with a second placed 36.42 to better her own Irish 300m record of 36.87 which she had set in January 2022.

Rhasidat’s performance continues a remarkable start to this year as she has already broken Irish indoor records at 60m (7.15A), 200m (22.49A), and now 300m (36.42).

The Tallaght sprinter lowered her own 60m mark to 7.15A back on January 20, the same day that she broke her old 200m record of 22.52 with a second placed 22.49A behind training partner Julien Alfred.
