Rovers or Shelbourne for the title?
IT ALL comes down to tomorrow’s (Friday) two games.
Simply put, Shels lose or draw and Rovers win it’s Rovers title.
Rovers defeat to relegate Dundalk 1-0 at Oriel park kept their hopes alive.
A 58th minute Dylan Watts strike deservedly secured the victory for Rovers, who will win the league title on Friday with victory over Waterford barring a Shels win away to Derry City.
Stephen Bradley’s made four changes from the historic 4-1 victory in Belfast on Thursday, Jack Byrne, Neil Farrugia, Gary O’Neil and Dylan Watts all came into the side, with Graham Burke the most notable absentee after his Man of the Match performance midweek.

Dylan Watts scored the only goal in their game against Dundalk last Sunday
Dundalk had some early chances, capitalising on some chaos in the visitor’s penalty box, as John Mountey flashed one wide before Jad Hadiki crashed one off the bar with a brilliant volley.
Robbie Mahon had the best chance of the half with the last play of the opening 45 minutes, as he raced through on goal but saw his well-struck effort saved smartly by Leon Pohls.
Clearly unsatisfied with his side’s first half performance, two of Rovers best players against Larne entered the fray, with Stephen Bradley opting to bring Graham Burke and Darragh Burns on for Gary O’Neil and Josh Honohan.
Burke took just one minute to create his side’s best chance of the game as he squared for Johnny Kenny who somehow dragged his effort wide.
The hero in Belfast was at the heart of things again ten minutes later as he latched onto the breaking ball from a Rovers corner and floated one back in for Dylan Watts to finish on the half-volley past Ross Munro.
The Dundalk number one prevented Watts from getting his second with a good save at his near post on 82 minutes, as Rovers held out to secure a crucial victory to take the title race down to the final day.
