#SchoolsGoOrange Local schools go orange as part of mental health awareness initiative

Schools from across the country have been taking part in the #SchoolsGoOrange initiative today, which is an idea launched by the Cycle Against Suicide group.

Among those taking part are students and teachers from Colaiste Eanna in Ballyroan and Colaiste Bride in Clondalkin.

The project aims to highlight mental health awareness in schools through positivity and by spreading the message that “it’s ok not to feel ok – and it’s absolutely ok to ask for help”.

Those taking part have been covering their schools in the colour orange, creating positive energy in the hallways and classrooms, and tweeting pictures using the hashtag #SchoolsGoOrange.
