Single-car collision victim still critical
GARDAI are investigating a single car collision in Citywest on Tuesday, August 7 – which has left a man in his sixties in a critical condition.
The Cheeverstown Road area remained closed for part of the day due to the crash, which occured at around 8.25am that morning.
In a statement to The Echo on Wednesday evening, a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai are investigating a traffic collision in the Citywest part of Dublin 24 that occurred on Tuesday (August 7) at approx. 8.45am.
“A male in his 60s was involved in a single car collision when he struck a curb.
“He was brought to Tallaght Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.”
