Sixth arrest in relation to Garda car ramming incident

GARDAI investigating the endangerment of gardai and related incidents in Cherry Orchard in September arrested a male juvenile this morning.

This is the sixth arrest made as part of the investigation into an incident on September 19, which saw a Garda car being rammed.

The young male is being detained at Clondalkin Garda Station.

According to a Garda statement released: “The juvenile is currently being detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

“Investigations are ongoing.”
