Small businesses not recognised in government forum

SMALL businesses are not recognised in the government’s forum for employer worker engagement, according to SaveJobs Alliance, whose membership includes ISME.

Despite the fact it makes up 99.8 per cent of all trading businesses and employs 60 per cent of the workforce, the group say this oversight is “neither acceptable nor sustainable, and means Government is prone to the type of policy errors which have led to financial supports being required by small business this year.”
