St Mary’s too good for Tallaght Town
SANDFORD/St Marys got their UCFL Division 3B campaign off to a winning start when they entertained newcomers to the League, Tallaght Town FC, in Tymon Park and bagged the points on a 2-1 scoreline, reports John Mooney.
This was a decent game in which to get the new season underway and, after a scrappy start it was the Saints who took control, with their first real effort arriving on 17 minutes when the visiting keeper, Eoin O’Duffy, denied Adam McKineley with a point blank save.
