Surlaya Ireland SICA presents the Multicultural Show in The Civic

Surlaya Ireland Cultural Association (SICA) is dedicated to bringing eastern and western traditional music and dance closer to your mind and soul.

The show will take place in the Civic Theatre in Tallaght on Sunday, August 19 at 3pm.

Simultaneously, SICA incorporates performance of traditional music/dance of Ireland and other countries to perform in front of ‘Multicultural’ audiences and to give them a scope to understand and interchange diverse musical cultures.

SICA provides ground for traditional music/dance followers and performers of different regions of India, Ireland and other countries.

Encourage/motivate the music lovers and fans to exchange and share the knowledge of musical/cultural activities. SICA arranges and promotes traditional cultural events/shows for local performers and talents.

The multicultural show will present; Indian classical Carnatic,Hindustani singing, Rajasthan folk songs by kids and adults; Tamil folk songs performed by adults and Karagam folk dance by children; Traditional Tamil instrument (PARAI) playing by adults; Bengali folk dances by adults; Bengali –Tagore singing by adults; Indian semi-classical dances by children; Contemporary fusion dances by children; Irish instrument (HARP) playing and singing performance by children; Indian classical Bharatanatyam dances by children; Indian classical Telugu Kuchipudi dance by Children and adult and Irish tin whistle performance by children.

Tickets for the show are: €10 adult and €5 child.
