Taking the hassle out of choosing stylish spectacles

FRAME Styler takes the hassle out of buying new glasses for first-time wearers and those who want to try a new look – at no extra cost.

Conor Dewey, Specsavers Retail Director in Liffey Valley, explained that many customers can be intimidated by the number of different frames in-store and often feel unsure about what type of frames might suit them.

Conor said: “It can be overwhelming for customers trying to pick out the most suitable frame from the large display we have in store – Frame Styler takes the hard work out of it. It only takes a minute for us to use the app to scan the customer’s face and it immediately gives us more than 20 different options for the customer to try on virtually.”

Frame Styler works by using facial analysis to scan the customer’s face shape and features, it identifies styles and colours from over 1,200 frames available at Specsavers and chooses a style that suits the facial profile.

The range offered by the app varies from discreet to statement frames, allowing the customer to view the frames on themselves without trying on a single pair.

Conor said: “The Frame Styler app has been really well received by customers – it saves them time when selecting new frames and it also gives them the opportunity to try on frames that have been specifically matched to their face shape and features. The technology is brilliant and so quick that most customers cannot believe that it works so well.”

To avail of your free eye test in either the Specsavers Liffey Valley or Specsavers Clondalkin ask in-store about Frame Styler before September 30.
