Tallaght man caught cooking up crack cocaine remanded on bail

A MAN who was caught cooking up crack cocaine by gardai has been remanded for a presentence report by Tallaght Court.

The court had heard that Darren Brennan was found in possession of €300 worth of crack cocaine. The gardai had found Brennan cooking up the crack cocaine in his kitchen.

Brennan, aged 32, with an address at Cloonmore Gardens, Tallaght, had pleaded guilty to simple possession of  cocaine and possession of cocaine for sale or supply at an address at Cloonmore Estate in Tallaght on April 8, 2016.

Brennan was before Judge Patricia McNamara for a presentence report.

Judge McNamara noted that the report was not ready.

Brennan’s counsel, Stephen Montgomery Bl, said his client was doing well.

Judge McNamara remanded Brennan on continuing bail to a date in November for a further report.
