Tallaght’s Enzo helps with Temple Street appeal

21-month-old Enzo Thompson from Tallaght joined with Fyffes in asking donors to give their support to National Banana Day, which takes place on Wednesday, April 19th next, by contributing to the purchase of multisensory equipment to be used by Temple Street Children’s Hospital for the treatment of children with certain conditions. 

Dubliners living within the reach of the online takeaway meals service, Just-Eat can make their contribution by ordering from a quirky, three-course banana-infused menu created by food-innovation chef Kevin Powell.

Dishes they can choose from include spiced banana chip and herb salad with pineapple-chili dressing starter; apple, banana and tomato butter chicken with jasmine rice or banana cashew and pineapple curry main course; banana and bacon shake to drink and a dessert option that includes banana cream chocolate doughnuts
