Tallaght’s Janet Grogan to once again wow X Factor judges tonight

Janet Grogan from Tallaght is set to wow X Factor Judges on tonight’s show, and not for the first time.

In 2014 Janet (28), who works in Tallaght Leisure Centre, auditioned and made it through the early rounds, but when Simon Cowell had to pick his final six in the dreaded six chair challenge, Janet was left behind.

Cowell himself openly regretted the choice he made, tweeting later that it was his mistake to leave the Irish singer out

According to the singer who works as a lifeguard, it was Cowell’s tweet that inspired her to keep pursuing her dream, and having taken lessons, played many gigs and put in a lot of hours of practice she is back.

Just like in her first audition in 2014, her performance on tonight’s show impresses the entire judging panel, but we will have to wait and see whether or not she gets through to bootcamp.
