The Tan Fairy celebrates seven years in business in Kingswood
By Maurice Garvey
CELEBRATING seven years in business, Tallaght salon The Tan Fairy held a customer appreciation night on September 5, to thank it’s loyal clientele for their continued support over the years.
The Kingswood business was established in 2011 by Lorraine Morris, owner of The Tan Fairy.
“We started off seven years ago opening a basic hair and beauty salon, but since then we have grown from offering the very basic, to the very advanced, collaborating with leading brands within the industry,” said Lorraine.
“The Tan Fairy Kingswood is a Wella Elite salon and a Dermalogica expert salon. We support Irish brands such as Waxperts and The Manicure Company.”
The salon is also the appointed Dublin education venue for The Manicure Company – providing acrylic/gel/gel polish courses to upcoming nail artists.

This year, after two years of research and development, Lorraine introduced the newest addition to the salon @aestheticsfairydublin.
The new initiative offers a wide range of medical grade solutions to clients, including treatments for skin health issues, such as anti-aging, hair loss solutions, tattoo removal, and semi-permanent make up.
Lorraine is also in the process of developing the much awaited #acrylic programme with The Manicure Company education team and dates will soon be launched for this.

Describing the last seven years as a “whirlwind of growth within the salon”, Lorraine says the biggest achievement was realising her dream of offering Tallaght a “one-stop shop” for all their hair beauty and aesthetics needs.
“None of this would have been possible without the teams continued hard work, dedication and our customers continued support.”
