A TALLAGHT woman who received a kidney from a deceased donor has welcomed recently released statistics showing an increase in the number of organ donations nationally in 2023.
Lisa Fitzgerald, who lives in Kiltipper, became ill with end-stage kidney disease in 2018, before she received a life-changing kidney donation from a deceased donor the following year.
