BALLYFERMOT United have made a public appeal for information following a third break-in over the last 18 months.

Vandals broke into the Coldcut dressing rooms on Friday night, ransacking and degrading the property.

The club estimate the break-ins have cost them between €8,000 to €10,000 with regard to stolen property and damages.

Ballyfermot United posted a statement on social media on Saturday, stating this was the first time they have gone public on the matter.

“The first time we had a €5,000 tractor robbed from the lockup,” said the statement.

“The second time we had our boiler robbed which cost us nearly €2,000 to replace. This time, they ransacked the dressers and cut the locks where our goalposts were kept, and where our other tractor was kept.

“If anyone has any information could they please let us know. As a club that caters for over 230 kids in the area, we try our best, but things like this costing €8,000-€10,000 are costly.
