Tower CU goes from strength to strength with Citywest branch

From humble beginnings back in 1962, in the corner of a library on Monastery Road in Clondalkin, Tower Credit Union opened for business for the very first time. Fast forward 57 years later and Tower Credit Union has opened a fourth office within their common bond.
Over the past decade the credit union has witnessed immense growth in membership and loans, with 1.8 million recorded in lending for the month of June alone.

Tower Credit Union is fast becoming a go-to financial service provider in the local community.
Tower Credit Union’s head office is found in the heart of Clondalkin village with offices also in Rathcoole and Neilstown.
The latest office can now be found in Citywest Shopping Centre, just beside McCabe’s Pharmacy.
Since opening its doors in Citywest on June 18, member recruitment is at an all-time high.
With little or no existing financial provider in the current local area, it seems Citywest and surrounds have welcomed the arrival of the credit union and its services.
Saturday, July 20 saw the official opening day of the Citywest branch.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place while face-painters, tattoo artist and balloon modellers entertained the children for the early afternoon.
The FM104 Beetlebugs were on hand to dish out goodies to shoppers and pedestrians! The Beetlebugs will return again next weekend in the Citywest area and local business parks for more giveaways.
Tower Credit Union Ltd continues to grow from strength to strength with the introduction of new online facilities and a long-awaited current account to come online in the coming months, which will enable members to withdraw from their account with a credit union debit card.
