Trustus to open charity shop in Tallaght Village

TRUSTUS, the Tallaght-based charity which provides services including meals on wheels and day centre services for older people living across local communities, will be opening a charity shop in Tallaght Village on Monday, April 9, so they can raise funds to expand their services.

The charity, which is Tallaght’s oldest voluntary body with services dating back to 1969, will be opening their charity shop beside Camile Thai in the Village Green Centre.

The charity shop will sell clothing, toys and small items of furniture, and Trustus also welcome donations of these items to their shop.

Marie Price Bolger, the chief executive of Trustus, told The Echo: “We are opening the charity shop to allow us to develop services for the community that are badly needed.

“We want to expand a number of the services that we’re already running.”

The shop will open at 10am on Monday, April 9.
