Warehouse beside Amazon data centre sold for €49,000 over asking price

A WAREHOUSE unit in the Hibernian Industrial Estate beside the Amazon Data Centre in Tallaght sold for €49,000 over the guide price of €300,000 when it went under the hammer last month, reports Aideen O’Flaherty.
The end-of-terrace unit comprises ground floor office and warehouse accommodation extending to approximately 529 sq. m.

The unit is currently let to Newman Fabrications Limited with a lease expiry due in 2021, and the current rent is reserved at €32,500 per annum.
The property is situated in Hibernian Industrial Estate on the Greenhills Road, just north of its intersection with Airton Road, with surrounding occupiers including, The Cycle Superstore and Crane Care.
Office accommodation is situated at the front of the property and warehouse accommodation is located to the side and rear, and in addition to this the property benefits from a yard to the front.
The unit went under the hammer at a Bid X1 auction last month, attracting 50 bids before being sold to the highest bidder at €349,000.
