Warning on flooding of school during storms
FLOOD prevention measures and sandbags should be provided to Edmondstown National School in Rathfarnham after the Owendoher River came over a nearby bridge during the recent heavy rainfall.
This is according to local councillor Emma Murphy (FF), who raised the issue at an Area Committee meeting last week in the form of a motion and warned the school was at risk of flooding.
