Weston estate added to the Tree Maintenance survey

WESTON ESTATE will be listed for a future tree survey, the Lucan Area Committee of South Dublin County Council heard recently.
Councillor Ed O’Brien put down a question asking the Chief Executive that “noting the size of the trees located in Weston estate can the estate be added to the Tree Maintenance Programme for a survey of the trees to be carried out at the earliest opportunity?"
Weston estate will be listed for tree surgery survey in the near future
The Council replied that Weston Estate in not included for maintenance on the 2017-2019 Tree Maintenance Programme.
They added: “However, the estate will be listed for a survey of all trees in the estate to determine the extent of the requirement for tree maintenance.
“Arising from the survey, any works considered necessary will be noted and prioritised accordingly as part of a future Tree Maintenance Programme for Weston Estate.”
