Women’s Cerebral Palsy team scoops European championship
THE Ireland Women’s Cerebral Palsy Football Team – which includes a player from Knocklyon – were crowned champions at the International Federation of CP Football European Nations League 2023 last month.
The newly-formed squad played their inaugural match in mid-October, where they competed against Spain, then Denmark and the Netherlands in the league and won all three matches.
