IS IT spring or still winter? March is always one of those in-between months.
Four seasons in one day. It is usually Lent, but St Patrick’s Day is bang in the middle.

We may have had some wintry weather, but it was nothing like Storm Emma a year before.
A Rathfarnham man, who has cystic fibrosis, called on the public to support the forthcoming Human Tissue Bill. In March, Justin Reynolds was 730 days post a bilateral (double lung) transplant.
Mr Reynolds called on the public to support The Human Tissue Bill due to come before the Cabinet for publication over 12 years since it was first recommended to government.
Over in Clondalkin, the family of Sean Cox told The Echo that it was “mind-blowing” the support they have received from the local community following a charity fundraising match between Round Tower GAA Club and the Irish Prison Services at Monastery Road .
Over 400 people turned out to watch the charity fundraising for Sean, who was seriously injured in an unprovoked assault while attending a Champions League semi-final against Roma in Liverpool last year.

In Citywest South Dublin County Council was monitoring the traffic flow at the new Citywest junction which cost in the region of €1.2 million.
Since works commenced last summer, motorists have been faced with heavy traffic and tailbacks – a situation which continued when the traffic lights at the new, upgraded junction were switched on.
The works included the removal of the roundabout at the junction of Fortunestown Lane and the former N82 and replacing it with a four-way, fully signalised junction with pedestrian and cycling facilities.
During the month, two students from Deansrath Community College in Clondalkin, Zoe Lubby and Andrea Thorpe took part in a debating competition in UCD. They successfully opposed the motion that “Zoos should be banned”.
In April 2015, Tallaght man William Maughan (34) vanished with his girlfriend Anna Varslavane (20) from Gormanston, Co Meath.
They had planned to leave Gormanston and move back to Tallaght on the day they disappeared.

Helen described the last four years as “torture” and says their family has been “torn apart”.
