60 expressions of interest for council housing scheme

DUBLIN City Council have received over 60 expressions of interest for three mooted housing sites in the city, including a 8.2 hectare site in Cherry Orchard.
The local authority confirmed the details prior to discussing a report on the Dublin City Council Housing Programme 2015-17 at the South Central ACM last week.
Plans to build four houses on open green space at Croftwood Gardens to alleviate anti-social problems, are included in the report.
The land in Cherry Orchard is seperate to the council’s Housing Programme, but refers to the 8.2 hectare site behind Cherry Orchard Hospital.
