Sports and community hall development at Adamstown
PROGRESS on the development of a sports and community hall for Adamstown Community College and the surrounding area is currently underway, as discussions between the developer and South Dublin County Council take place to determine the cost and feasibility of the project.
This was confirmed during Tuesday’s meeting of the Lucan Area Committee, in response to a motion that was tabled by Lucan councillor William Lavelle.
Cllr Lavelle’s motion called upon the Chief Executive of the council, Daniel McLoughlin, to present a etailed update on the steps and timeline for delivery of the hall.
It also asked to examine the feasibility of the council acquiring the disused marketing suite building at Adamstown Boulevard for community groups and sports clubs.
