West Dublin man charged with sexually assaulting another man

A WEST-DUBLIN MAN charged with indecently assaulting and sexually assaulting another male over a four-year period has been sent forward for trial to the Circuit Court.

The accused man (41) was before Judge David McHugh in Blanchardstown Court for service of his book of evidence.

The man, with an address in West Dublin, is charged with indecently assaulting a named male at the above address on dates between January 1 and December 31, 1989 contrary to common law.

He is also charged with indecently assaulting the same male at the above address on dates between January 1, 1990 and January 17, 1991, contrary to common law.

He is also charged with three counts of sexually assaulting the same male at the above address on dates between January 18, 1991 and December 31, 1991, January 1, 1992 and December 31, 1992 and on dates between January 1, 1993 and December 31, 1993.

A solicitor for the DPP told Judge McHugh that the book was readyto be served. He said the DPP had consented for the man to be sent forward for trial to the present sitting of Dublin Circuit Court.

Judge McHugh sent the man forward on bail to the present sitting of the Circuit Court.
