Specialist bicycle shop plans for former Browns Barn Bar

PERMISSION is being sought to change the Browns Barn Bar and Kitchen, Citywest, into a specialist bicycle shop.

The application, lodged by Specialized Bicycle Components Ire Ltd, outlines plans for the bicycle shop to include bicycle repair and servicing workshops and custom fitting facilities.

The proposed development will comprise of a ground floor area of 699.6 sq. m, and a first floor area of 568.9 sq. m, including customer and staff facilities.

It is also noted in the application that the Browns Barn bar and restaurant are listed as protected structures.

A decision is due from South Dublin County Council by June 7.
