Mental Health support services visit local school
A WIDE array of support services attended Mental Health Awareness Week at Deansrath Community College on April 26.
Many local agencies engaged in mental health issues were represented on the day at the school.
Deansrath were delighted to welcome Youthreach, Cumas, Jigsaw, Casp, Yes, Blueskies initiative, Stewart’s Care, Clondalkin Youth Service, Tus Nua and Beacon of Light.
The day was a great success with students, teachers and parents given opportunities to visit the stands and find out about the services provided by the agencies.
The Transition Year students organised activities , such as Serious Socks Wishing Line along with a Photo Booth, which added to everyone’s overall enjoyment of the day.
