A NEW committee has been formed in Newcastle to gather data to assess whether there is a need for a secondary school in the area.

“It’s hard work, we have been carrying out an assessment of needs [for a secondary school] in the village,” said Emily McInerney, who is a member of the newly formed Newcastle Community Secondary School Committee (NCSSC).
