Bigger and better Darkness Into Light walk to Corkagh Park
The Corkagh Park Darkness Into Light walk first began in 2022 and this year’s walk was even bigger and better. Around 1,700 people descended on Corkagh Park in the early hours of Saturday helping to raise much-needed funds for Pieta House.
“What a beautiful morning it was and it’s so uplifting to see the community come together in support of each other and to shine a light on such important issues. The atmosphere and energy was amazing and people went out of their way to greet each other” said Lorraine Nugent Murphy, Co-Chair DIL Corklagh Park.
