As reported previously in The Echo, Crumlin native Liam Moore decided to purchase the 1987 Seagrave Tiller in an auction before Christmas and will use it for charitable events in the future.

Scrap yard fire Greenhills Road

 Dublin Fire Brigade dealt with a blaze at a car scrap yard on the Greenhills Road around 10pm on Saturday night.

Five units from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn brought the fire under control. No injuries were reported.

Food table in Tallaght

OVER 40 people went to a food table that was set up to provide hot meals for people in need in Tallaght on Monday evening, and the organiser has praised the generosity of the local community.

Aylesbury woman Linda Maritza has been involved in helping homeless people and people in need in the locality for several years, after she began helping a homeless man who sought shelter at her local shopping centre four years ago.

Tallaght Wetlands

FROGS have already spawned and the Tallaght wetlands site they once called home, before tonnes of silt was dumped atop of it in 2019, may be on track to “bounce back” quicker than expected.

Local conservationist Collie Ennis has been keeping a close eye on the site which he once called “a little gem” and this week, has discovered that the common frog population has returned in force.

The popular light house in Kilnamanagh has gone green ahead of St Patrick’s Day.
