Change of use of yet to be developed warehouse into staff facillities

PERMISSION has been granted for the change of use of a yet-to-be-developed warehouse into office/staff facilities in a property on Kingswood Road in the Citywest Business Campus.

Applicant Rockface Development Limited plans to carry out internal adjustments to office/staff facilities resulting in a change of use of 59sq.m of warehouse floor area to office/staff facilities.

The location is on the ground floor of the building and in the rear warehouse and is to provide an ancillary one-storey drivers’ office and staff facilities.

Minor alterations, such as the relocation of internal partitions, and internal layouts at the main ancillary office are included, but with no associated area change.

A minor adjustment to the dock leveller doors to facilitate detailed structural design and associated elevational adjustments, with no area changes, also formed part of the application.

It was also noted in the proposal that permission is being sought for associated site plan adjustments due to the proposed alterations.

South Dublin County Council granted permission for the change of use on May 29.
