Citywest firm AbbVie named ‘Graduate Employer of the Year’

GLOBAL biopharma firm AbbVie, which has a commercial headquarters in Citywest, has been named ‘Graduate Employer of the Year’ at an awards event.

AbbVie’s ongoing commitment to the development and progression of early career talent has been recognised by gradireland.

They presented AbbVie with three trophies at their recent annual recruitment awards event including ‘Graduate Employer of the Year’ (<40 intake) and ‘Best Internship Programme’ (<50 intake) category.

AbbVie was also recognised by the graduate organisation for the ‘Best Training & Development Programme’ for the company’s Operations Development Programme and was awarded the silver prize in this important category.

The graduate careers and advice organisation’s awards ceremony recognises excellence and innovation in graduate recruitment for employers who deliver the best programmes and internships in Ireland.

AbbVie employs approximately 2,600 people across eight sites in Ireland.
