High Res to light ceremony at National Enterprise Awards

BALLYMOUNT based company High Res Lighting are representing South Dublin County at the final of the National Enterprise Awards in June.

High Res Lighting are one of the few leading companies in Europe that provide virtual production and green screen replacement for large film and TV production companies and studios.

They are one of 31 SMEs that have made it through to the finals, organised by Local Enterprise Offices.

The overall winner will be announced on Thursday June 1 at an event in Dublin.

An experienced full service creative production firm, High Res started out as a pure lighting design company 25 years ago, but expanded into the world of virtual production and green screen replacement.

The broad industry definition of ‘virtual production’ is a collaborative and interactive digital filmmaking process that facilitates the creation of virtual environments, and enables them to be physically shot ‘in camera’, rather than added in at post-production.
