Community eagerly awaits opening of The Square cinema

SUSPENSE is building as the community eagerly awaits its new fully refurbished, 13-screen cinema in The Square.

As of yet, there’s been no official announcement on an opening date for Tallaght’s new cinema, or if they’ll be serving butter popcorn.

Speaking last September when Movies@ announced it was coming to Tallaght, Managing Director Graham Spurling said: “We are really excited to be opening at The Square Tallaght, a location we believe fits with our vision of delivering an unrivalled experience for our customers.

“The cinema is being completely refurbished from top to bottom and re-equipped with incredible laser projection, surround sound equipment and each of the 13 screens are also being fitted out with super comfortable luxury seating options including electric recliners and our twin seat sofas, to offer an unrivalled out of home experience.”
