Council to install improved public lighting in Lucan
SOUTH DUBLIN County Council are to install an improved public lighting scheme on the west side of the Lucan Heights entrance road, from the junction with Lucan Road up to the T-Junction at Lucan Heights/Esker Lawns.
In addition, existing trees owned and maintained by SDCC on Lucan Heights entrance road will be pruned.

This pruning will include some private trees overhanging the public footpath on the west side of the road opposite the college.
Councillor William Lavelle told The Echo: “These works follow requests which I had raised – on behalf of both local residents and pupils of St Joseph’s College – at the November and December 2016 meetings of the Lucan Area Committee”.
