Cyclist seriously injured after collision with bus on N81

A cyclist was seriously injured last night when the bike he was travelling on was involved in a collision with a bus.

The incident took place on the N81 Baltinglass Road just before 8pm last night.

The road was closed in both directions as the man remained at the scene for a lengthy period of time.

It is believed he was taken to Naas General Hospital.

His condition is unknown at this time.
