DFB called to illegally dumped rubbish on fire in Citywest for fourth time in a week

Dublin Fire Brigade were called to attend a small rubbish fire in Citywest yesterday – the fourth call they have received in relation to burning rubbish at the site in a week.

The illegal dumping of rubbish has for some time been a real problem across the local area, and the burning of this rubbish is further compounding the problem.

The firefighters attended the scene of the latest rubbish fire yesterday afternoon.

In a message from DFB, they said: “4th time this week to the same illegal dumping site in Citywest for Tallaght fire stn.

“Dumping can be reported using the See It, Say It app.”
